For the golfer just across the street is the spectacular Caynon Desert golf course. The Golf room is dedicated to Benny Colk father of Walter who was known as one of the legends of golf. Benny was a CPGA professional for over 70 years being the head pro for the Richmond golf and country club, Langara, and finally as the Honorary Pro for Fairwinds on Vancouver Island.

For the family Tucelnuit lake is down the street to cool off with a swim for both you and your dog. The area offers hiking and bike trails which are well located and maintained.
